On Remembrance Sunday we held our usual Act of Remembrance at the war memorial in the churchyard. Wreaths were laid by the congregation, Aberlour Childcare Trust, the Banffshire Lieutenancy and the Scouts. Sandra came along to play the Last Post and Reveille. The service was led by Rev Ian Sykes who came from Grantown-on-Spey to do so. The memorial commemorates the former residents of the Aberlour Orphanage who fell in the two world wars of the 20th century
