Sunday 28th September marked the 150th anniversary of St Margaret's Church. A day of celebration started at 10am with Sung Eucharist presided over by The Most Reverend Mark Strange, our priest in charge and Bishop. The church was open for visitors from 2pm until 3.30pm and at 4pm we welcomed a large congregation for Choral Evensong.

It was wonderful to see so many people in the church, all relaxed and happy. A special guest was SallyAnn Kelly the retiring CEO of Aberlour Childcare Trust, the charity that grew out of the Aberlour Orphanage.

Tricia Lawson provided some wonderful floral displays and teh church looked at its best. Rev Tembu Rongong, from Holy Trinity in Elgin, brought with him members of three local choirs to lead the Choral Evensong and the church was filled with a glorious sound. It was altogether a joyful and memorable day
