Remembrance Sunday 2025

On 9th November we held our annual Act of Remembrance prior to our regular service. Laying wreaths were Hugh Monro DL, on behalf of the Banffshire Lieutenancy,

Sir Alistair Irwin, on behalf of the church, Angus Findlay, on behalf of Aberlour Child Care Trust and Gemma Grant, on behalf of the Scouts.  We were delighted to welcome back Sandra Steel to play the Last Post and Reveille and accompany the singing of the national anthem. Rev Ian Sykes led the service.

We only have one member old enough to have served in the Second World War and she enjoyed a warming cup of coffee after the service.
