This year we decided that we would take part in Doors Open Day on Saturday 7th September. A few of us manned the church from 10am until 4pm and we offered tea, coffee and cakes to visitors. The church had been thoroughly cleaned the day before and fresh flowers were in place. We put our vestments, record books and silverware on display and were delighted to welcome 38 visitors during the day. It was a beautiful day and no-one was in a hurry. Lots of interesting questions were asked and answered to the best of our ability. It was good to be able to welcome people into our beautiful building especially as quite a few didn't realise that we still have regular services.
